Devan is the Founder and Head Hauntress of WV Paranormal Girl Investigations LLC. With a lifelong fascination for the paranormal, Devan’s interest in the unexplained began at a young age. Growing up, she spent a great deal of time exploring the historic grounds of Gettysburg, where the stories, history, and atmosphere sparked a deep curiosity about the spirit world.

 

After experiencing paranormal activity herself, Devan became passionate about investigating and documenting the unexplained. Today, she leads WV Paranormal Girl Investigations with an open mind, respect for every location, and a dedication to exploring the mysteries that surround us. The fact that she gets to do this with her dad and some of her best friends makes it even more incredible👻

Hi, I’m Jess! I’ve always had a thing for the unexplained, the kind of curiosity that keeps you up at night wondering what’s really out there. That curiosity turned into something deeper after the unexpected loss of my sister. Since then, I’ve had more questions than answers… and I’m not done searching.

 

Joining this team started with meeting Devan, the one who lit the fire with her passion for the paranormal. Being around that kind of energy? It’s contagious. And now, here I am—fully in it.

 

On my “normal” days, I’m a stay-at-home mom, learning coach for my 6th grader, proud wife of an Army C-12 pilot, and unapologetic plant mom—surrounded by more leaves than I probably have space for. But during investigations, I’m “Scribbles,” the team’s scribe—documenting everything from subtle shifts to full-on “did that just happen?” moments.

 

I live for the thrill of an investigation and the connection this group brings. Still waiting for that one experience that makes me completely lose it, but until then, I’m watching, writing, and staying just brave enough to keep going. 🖤

Remington has always approached the paranormal with a healthy dose of skepticism. However, since becoming part of the team at WV Paranormal Girl Investigations LLC, his perspective has begun to shift. Through firsthand experiences and moments during investigations that simply couldn’t be explained, he has grown more open to the unknown.

 

Known within the group by the nickname “Recon,” Remington is responsible for documenting investigations through video, helping capture evidence and preserving the team’s experiences in the field. His calm and patient nature makes him a steady presence during investigations.

 

Outside of paranormal research, Remington loves the outdoors and especially enjoys spending time at his camp, where he can relax and disconnect from the busy world. Whether in the woods or on an investigation, he brings patience, focus, and a watchful eye to everything he does. One thing the team — especially his wife, Christy — knows well is his enthusiasm for his flashlight, which he may or may not use a little too often during investigations.
